What is Travellers Diarrhoea?
Travellers Diarrhoea also known as Bali Belly, Delhi Belly, Montezuma’s Revenge, Tourist Trot, Rangoon Runs or just TD, is a result of ingesting contaminated food and/or water.
According to Better Health Channel, many people who travel from developed to developing countries experience travellers diarrhoea. This illness can occur at any time during the trip, or even after the person gets home. It is usually a self-limiting condition that clears up after a few days. It is often caused by eating contaminated food or water. The micro-organisms that trigger the illness may appear to be harmless to the local population, presumably because local people have acquired immunity to them.

Where should I take Travelan?
Any country other than that where you normally live can be a potential infection threat. Some areas are a higher risk to travellers such as Asia, South and Central America, Africa, the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. Areas with poor sanitation and water supply are especially high-risk.
Travelan is designed to be taken before every meal. Take one Travelan caplet before every meal. Additional caplets may be taken when increased protection is required, i.e. when snacking between meals or if circumstances suggest an increased risk of infection or Bali Belly.
